too、as well、also和either都表示“也”，但用法有所不同。

★too常位于句末且其前常用逗号与前句隔开。

例如：

Tom likes playing football. He likes watching football on television, too.

另外，在简略答语里too常用于宾格代词之后。如：

— I want to eat an apple.

— Me too.

★as well多用于口语中，语气较轻，通常用于肯定句中，一般位于句末。

例如：

In this field he has knowledge and experience as well.

这方面他既有知识又有经验。

★also更正式一些，一般不用于否定句，它在句中的位置通常是紧靠动词，即放在实义动词之前，be动词/情态动词之后，通常位于句中。

例如：

My father likes swimming, and he also likes running.

我爸爸喜欢游泳，他也喜欢跑步。

★either常用于否定句中，一般放在句末，肯定句变否定句时，其中的also和too 都要改成either。

例如：

Kevin won’t go to the party and Peter won’t go either.

Kevin 不会去参加派对，Peter 也不会去。
