北京时间5月14日，在纽约举行的联合国运动会闭幕式上，国际乒联第一副主席、世界乒乓球职业大联盟（WTT）董事会主席、中国乒协前主席刘国梁受邀成为“联合国运动会大使”。

Liu Guoliang, vice chairman of the International Table Tennis Federation and chairman of the WTT Board of Directors, was appointed "UN Games Ambassador" during the Closing Ceremony of the 2025 United Nations Games, held at UN Headquarters in New York on Wednesday (Beijing time).

当天，刘国梁以视频的方式在闭幕式上致辞。他说：“作为联合国运动会大使，我谨向无数体育爱好者、观众、志愿者和服务人员表达最深切的谢意，是你们让本次赛事取得圆满成功。”

刘国梁表示，青少年是体育运动的未来，通过这样的活动，大家不仅获得了健康的体魄，也收获了真挚的友谊。“正值‘国际和平与信任年’之际，让我们继续以体育作为连接不同文化和民族的桥梁，让我们携手，通过每一次发球，每一次奔跑，弘扬体育团结、和谐、传承友谊的共同价值。”

刘国梁说，自己期待出席6月12日举行的联合国儿童乒乓球友谊赛，届时大家将再次把体育精神发扬光大，并将之传承至下一代。

In a video message delivered during the closing ceremony, Liu shared a heartfelt tribute to the athletes, organizers, and young sports enthusiasts, emphasizing the spirit of unity, sportsmanship, and intergenerational inspiration. He celebrated the success of the Games and looked ahead to joining the UN Children's Ping-Pong Friendship Tournament in June 2025.

Liu's message is a powerful reminder of how sport can connect generations, cultures, and nations — one rally at a time.

另据中国乒协消息，刘国梁将在本月21日前往多哈参加国际乒联会议。
