In 1905, Einstein completely revolutionized our understanding of physics, revealing astonishing truths about the universe: rulers in motion contract (length contraction), moving clocks run slow (time dilation), mass and energy are fundamentally equivalent (E=mc²), and the speed of light is the ultimate, unbreakable cosmic speed limit. The simple yet profound question "What is light?" forever transformed humanity's comprehension of time, space, and energy.
This summer, Beijing RCF Experimental School, together with KingLead, hold the Global Academician Workshop on Physics Frontiers and Space Exploration. From July 7th-12th, 2025, a full professor of University of Cambridge will come to Beijing to guide you personally in standing on the shoulders of giants and deciphering the mysteries of the universe!

Outstanding Student from RDFZ ICC
What would you like to say to others who are interested in applying for the workshop in the future?
First and foremost, you can rest assured about the professor's professionalism and patience. The professor explains knowledge points very thoroughly, and the explanations are extremely clear. I even asked the professor some very basic questions that had been covered multiple times during the lectures, but he still patiently helped me answer them. Secondly, if you are considering applying for the workshop, you must choose a topic you are genuinely interested in. Because only by exploring a topic you are truly passionate about will it be an interesting endeavor.
Outstanding Student from Beijing 101 Middle School
How do you think your learning experience in the workshop will impact your future academic development and application plans?
The learning experience in the workshop was an excellent simulated course for me, serving as a great foundation and preparation for future university studies. It also further motivated me to diligently and solidly learn foundational knowledge, preparing me for my dream major. This workshop also plays a very important role in application planning. Research is an opportunity to showcase a student's learning ability. Extensive and in-depth research fully demonstrates a student's qualities and capabilities. Therefore, I believe this experience is very helpful for my university applications.
Outstanding Student from The High School Affiliated to Capital Normal University International Division
Could you describe your overall learning experience and feelings about this workshop?
I really like this professor; he is very approachable and incredibly patient when answering questions. He strongly encouraged us to ask questions promptly, even allowing us to interrupt him at any point during the lecture. He also genuinely cared about our learning outcomes, paid attention to everyone's learning progress, and would even ask if we needed any adjustments to the project content.
Outstanding Student fromHuafu International
From your personal experience in the workshop, which segment inspired you the most? Why?
The data simulation of physical phenomena was the most enlightening part for me. The professor provided us with real-world datasets and foundational formulas—such as planetary gravitational equations and collision coefficients—which we applied directly in hands-on exercises. Additionally, this segment required practical use of Python programming. Integrating these technical tools with theoretical concepts was profoundly impactful.
Outstanding Student from Shanghai Qibao Dwight High School
During the workshop, did you experience growth in academic knowledge, time management, or teamwork skills?
I believe I have improved in time management. Because the research content was relatively complex, I needed to spend more time understanding the fundamental concepts and principles of biology. Therefore, I had to start preparing the presentation for the final day of the program earlier; otherwise, time would have been very tight.
I think I have gained significant improvement in academic knowledge. The professor guided us on where to search for literature and what aspects to focus on when reviewing it, which greatly assisted me in locating academic resources. Moreover, the methods taught by the professor can also be applied to future studies, providing substantial help for my ongoing learning.
Outstanding Student from Shenzhen Senior High School Group International Division
How do you think your learning experience in the workshop will impact your future academic development and application plans?
This workshop learning experience will greatly influence my future academic development and application plans. Firstly, the knowledge acquisition, case discussions, and paper analyses within the workshop have, to a certain extent, enhanced my academic abilities and comprehension skills. Secondly, upon completion of the workshop project, each of us students received a certificate of participation. I believe the workshop certificate holds considerable value, which will be beneficial for my future applications to overseas universities or other research programs.
