Right now, the Shanghai Metro's Tap to Ride accepts UnionPay chip cards, Visa Mastercard American Express and JCB contactless cards and e-CNY hard wallets.

UnionPay chip cards, as well as Visa (international Visa cards and Visa-CUP Dual-brand Dual-currency cards), MasterCard, American Express, and JCB contactless cards (excluding Type-B chips and cards without ODA function), and e-CNY hard wallets that meet the People's Bank of China Digital Currency Research Institute's specifications.

目前上海地铁刷卡过闸支持银联标准芯片卡，Visa、万事达、美国运通、JCB品牌的芯片闪付卡以及数字人民币硬钱包。

银联、维萨（Visa）、万事达（Mastercard）、美国运通（American Express）、JCB等主流芯片闪付卡及各类符合金融IC卡标准的手机Pay，或符合人民银行数字货币研究所标准的各形态数字人民币硬钱包。
