清晨下楼买豆浆，巷口快递柜旁边蜷着两只猫。左边那只像被揉碎的彩虹糖，黑白橘三块颜色分得清清楚楚，凑过来蹭我手背时，耳尖的橘毛还沾着晨露；右边那只倒像浸了墨的水彩纸，灰黑白带点浅棕，缩在墙根儿盯着我手里的包子，尾巴尖儿偶尔晃一下，像根没蘸匀的毛笔。
旁边看店的阿姨笑着递过来一把猫粮：“这俩呀，一个是三花，一个是三色，模样像但脾性差远了。”我蹲下来撒了把粮，看着它们低头吃的样子，忽然想搞明白：到底啥是三花，啥是三色？
一、毛色不是“随便混”，是老天爷给的“拼图游戏”
三花猫的毛，像妈妈给小朋友拼的补丁裙——黑一块、白一块、橘一块（有时候是红棕），每块颜色都有明显的边界，像刚从染缸里捞出来的布，还没揉开。比如我家楼下的“小橘子”，脑袋是黑的，耳朵尖儿翘着橘毛，背上铺着一块白，肚子圆滚滚的全是橘，连尾巴都像裹了层黑绒布，每一块颜色都“各占地盘”，像个小调皮把颜料盒打翻在身上，却故意抹得整整齐齐。
三色猫呢，更像爸爸画的水彩画。比如朋友家的“灰灰”，全身是浅灰的底色，背上混着几块深黑，肚子和爪子是白的，有时候耳尖还带点浅棕，颜色之间没有明显的线，像被水晕开了似的。就像你把黑墨水和白颜料混在一起，再加点儿棕，搅一搅，然后抹在猫身上——不是“块”，是“晕染”，像雾里的山，朦朦胧胧的。
二、性格像“火”和“水”，一个爱热闹，一个爱安静
三花猫像个“小太阳”，走到哪儿都爱热闹。我朋友家的“小橘子”，每天早上都会跳上床舔她的脸，把她叫醒；晚上下班回家，它会蹲在门口，尾巴翘得像根小旗子，跟着她转圈圈，有时候还会用爪子扒她的裤腿，要抱抱。有一次朋友把猫零食藏在抽屉里，“小橘子”居然用爪子扒开了抽屉，把零食袋啃得稀烂，站在旁边歪着脑袋看她，像在说：“我找到啦！”
三色猫呢，像个“小月亮”，喜欢安安静静的。楼下的“灰灰”，从来不让人抱，只会蹲在窗台上看外面的鸟，看整整一个下午。你给它喂猫条，它也只是凑过来闻闻，然后慢悠悠地吃，像个高傲的小公主。有一次我试着摸它的头，它居然往后退了一步，用眼睛瞪我，像在说：“别碰我，我在思考人生。”
三、饲养要“投其所好”，不然它会跟你“闹脾气”
三花猫是“大大咧咧的孩子”，但也有“小缺点”。比如它掉毛厉害，像行走的蒲公英，你沙发上、衣服上、甚至豆浆杯里，都能找到它的毛。我朋友每天都要给“小橘子”梳毛，用那种带针的梳子，梳的时候“小橘子”会呼噜呼噜地叫，像在说：“舒服，再梳会儿。”还有，三花猫爱吃，你要是不给它喂饱，它会翻垃圾桶，把你刚扔的鱼骨头扒出来，啃得满脸都是。
三色猫是“敏感的孩子”，得给它留“私人空间”。比如朋友家的“灰灰”，有个专门的猫窝，放在阳台的角落，里面铺着软软的毯子。它每天都会去那里睡午觉，要是你动了它的猫窝，它会生气，整整一天都不理你。还有，三色猫怕生，要是家里来了客人，它会躲在床底下，直到客人走了才出来，像个害羞的小姑娘。
傍晚的时候，我再去巷口，“小橘子”正追着一只蝴蝶跑，尾巴翘得老高；“灰灰”还是蹲在窗台上，看西边的太阳。阿姨递过来一杯豆浆：“你看，这俩猫，一个爱闹，一个爱静，可都招人疼。”

其实呀，不管是三花还是三色，都是猫界的“小艺术家”。三花像热热闹闹的彩虹，把快乐撒得满地都是；三色像安安静静的云，把温柔藏在每一根毛里。只要你愿意蹲下来，摸摸它们的头，就能读懂它们的小心思——毕竟，爱从来都不分花色呀。
风里飘来豆浆的香味，“小橘子”跑过来蹭我的脚，“灰灰”也转过脑袋，看了我一眼。我笑了，把手里的豆浆杯举起来，对着太阳——原来，每只猫都是独一无二的彩虹，只是散落在不同的地方，等着我们去发现。
