Known as guofeng, or "national style," it combines rap beats and breakdance moves with ancient poetry, flowing costumes, and classical instruments. At the forefront are dancers like Ma Xiaolong and Gai Gai, who are reimagining how tradition and modernity meet on stage. Their work is not only drawing young audiences in China, but also taking Chinese culture to global dance platforms.
