A beef offal restaurant in Lianzhou, Guangdong province, has been fined for raising prices during the National Day holiday without notifying customers, local authorities confirmed.
10月7日晚间，连州市市场监督管理局发布《情况通报》显示，10月5日，该局接到某消费者投诉，反映连州市某牛杂店经营者存在未尽告知义务乱涨价的情况。该局高度重视，立即开展核查工作。
According to a statement released Tuesday evening by the Lianzhou Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, the agency received a consumer complaint on Sunday alleging that the restaurant had arbitrarily increased prices without informing diners.

经核查，该牛杂店经营场所内有公示商品销售价目表，但未提前告知消费者国庆节期间价格上涨的情况。
10月4日，该消费者到店消费时，该牛杂店经营者按其公示价目表每串加收一元的标准进行结算，结算金额为203元，该行为违反了《中华人民共和国价格法》有关条款规定。目前该局已责令其退回该消费者多付的价款50元，并处以罚款3500元的行政处罚。
Investigations revealed that while the restaurant displayed a price list, it failed to notify customers of holiday price increases. On Saturday, the complainant and her family were charged 203 yuan, including an extra one yuan per skewer. Authorities ordered the restaurant to refund 50 yuan and imposed a 3,500 yuan fine for violating China's pricing law.
《情况通报》还显示，连州市市场监督管理局也举一反三，对全市经营者主体开展排查整治，坚决打击乱涨价、乱收费行为。欢迎广大消费者和社会各界人士积极参与监督，若发现价格违法行为，请及时通过拨打12345或12315热线进行投诉举报，该局将依法进行调查处理，切实保障消费者合法权益。
店家现场手改菜品价格
据南都N视频此前报道，相关视频显示，10月4日，一名女子与家人在广东清远连州一家牛杂店吃饭，结账时感觉价格偏高，核算发现总价与店内墙上价格表对不上，该女子提出质疑后，店主才称国庆期间整条街都涨价，并催促女子买单。
该女子支付了203元后想拍视频取证，店家当面拿笔在墙上改菜品价格。该消费者称，“现在才来写，我已经打12315了，”店家态度蛮横地回复称“你打吧。”
Earlier footage showed a woman confronting the restaurant owner after noticing her bill exceeded the listed prices. The owner reportedly claimed, "Everyone on the street raised prices during the holiday," and urged her to pay. After she paid and attempted to record the incident, the owner was seen manually altering the prices on the wall, responding to her complaint with: "Go ahead."
