At the 8th CIIE, Zhenhua Oil displayed a desk from Iraq’s Zhenhua Hope School that traveled 8,717 kilometers. Responding to a local retired principal’s plea, the company invested 2.3 million US dollars to build a modern school, which improved local students’learning environment. During the expo, a live broadcast enabled Iraqi students to "visit" Shanghai and witness world-leading technologies. The school, selected into the 3rd Belt and Road Forum’s people-to-people connectivity achievements list, will host future China student exchanges, standing as a testament to China-Iraq friendship.(Photo by the Interviewee)
