据中央纪委国家监委网站19日消息，中央纪委国家监委驻教育部纪检监察组、河南省纪委监委消息：中央戏剧学院党委副书记、院长郝戎涉嫌严重违纪违法，主动投案，目前正接受中央纪委国家监委驻教育部纪检监察组纪律审查和河南省许昌市监委监察调查。

Hao Rong, president of the Central Academy of Drama, is being investigated for suspected severe disciplinary and legal violations after voluntarily surrendering to authorities, as announced by China's top anti-graft bodies on Friday.

郝戎，男，汉族，中共党员，教授，博士生导师。中央戏剧学院院长、党委副书记。第十四届全国政协委员。

教育部高等学校戏剧与影视学类教学指导委员会副主任委员。北京电影家协会副主席。中国音乐剧协会副主席。中国文联特约研究员。世界戏剧教育联盟秘书长。亚洲戏剧教育研究中心理事长。

A member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Hao has held prominent academic and artistic roles, including vice-chairman of the Beijing Film Association and secretary-general of the World Theatre Education Alliance.

毕业于中央戏剧学院表演系，戏剧戏曲学硕士。历任表演系台词教研室主任、表演系副主任、表演系党支部书记、表演系主任、中央戏剧学院院长助理、副院长。2018年11月任中央戏剧学院院长。

A graduate of the academy's acting department, Hao rose through the ranks, serving as head of the performance department and vice-president before becoming president in 2018.
