那抹黑色的剪影划过天空时，你在想什么？秋天来了。不是日历告诉你的，是风。风里带着凉意，带着某种说不清的催促。然后你抬头，看见它们——一群燕子，排着不那么整齐的队伍，沉默地，却又无比坚定地，向南飞去。天空很高，它们很小，小得像谁用毛笔不经意甩出的墨点，却牵动着地面上无数仰望的目光。
那一刻，心里会“咯噔”一下。说不清道不明。是羡慕它们说走就走的自由？还是感伤于这年复一年的别离？或许，我们看的不是燕子，是那个被称作“故乡”却再也回不去的远方。它们年年履约，而我们，有多少人已经失约多年？
它们怎么就知道路呢？没有人教，没有导航。那股子写在基因里的冲动，那股子对温暖、对生存的本能渴望，驱动着它们穿越千山万水。这简直是一种神迹！相比之下，我们人类所谓的“乡愁”，是不是显得有点矫情？我们迷路，我们犹豫，我们为留下还是离开辗转反侧。燕子不会。它们的字典里，没有“纠结”，只有“出发”和“到达”。
我们都在迁徙，只是方向不同看着燕子南归，忽然觉得，我们何尝不是另一种“候鸟”？从家乡的小城，迁徙到繁华的都市；从一个公司，跳槽到另一个平台；甚至从一段关系，流浪到另一段关系。我们也在寻找自己的“南方”——那个代表着机遇、温暖、更好生活的地方。
但燕子的迁徙，是闭环。秋天去，春天回，周而复始。我们的迁徙，常常是单行道。离开，然后很难再回头。我们把这种单向流动美其名曰“奋斗”、“追梦”。可梦的尽头是什么？是更宽敞的房子，还是更深的孤独？
小时候，奶奶总指着房梁下的燕子窝说：“燕子来家做窝，是福气，不能赶。”那时觉得，燕子是家的一部分，和门口的枣树、院子里的压水井一样自然。现在老屋空了，枣树老了，井也封了。燕子今年还会回去吗？如果回去，看到空荡荡的屋檐，会不会也感到一丝物是人非的怅惘？
我们拼命逃离的，或许是燕子们拼命想要回归的。这真是一个巨大的讽刺。
在“根”与“翅膀”之间，我们永远矛盾燕子有翅膀，所以它必须飞。这是它的天赋，也是它的枷锁。我们有双脚，本可以扎根，却总渴望飞翔。“故乡”安放着我们的“根”，“远方”召唤着我们的“翅膀”。这永恒的撕扯，构成了现代人精神世界里最深的沟壑。
父母在电话那头说：“家里都好，不用惦记。”就像燕子窝里留守的雏鸟，永远告诉父母“我能行”。可我们都知道，那是一种善意的谎言。一边是“父母在，不远游”的古训，一边是“世界那么大，我想去看看”的浪潮。我们卡在中间，进退两难。
于是，我们把情感投射到燕子身上。它们的南归，成了我们集体乡愁的仪式。我们看着它们，仿佛在看一场关于回归的盛大演出，而自己，只是个买不到返程票的观众。它们的每一次振翅，都像是在替我们问：“那个出发的地方，你还认得回去的路吗？”
或许，归途不在远方，而在心里电影《阿飞正传》里说，有一种鸟，没有脚，只能一直飞，累了就在风里睡觉。它一生只落地一次，那就是死亡的时候。我们怕自己变成那种鸟，所以格外珍视燕子这种“有处可去”的迁徙。它告诉我们，飞翔是有目的的，离别是为了重逢。
可现实常常是，我们飞着飞着，就忘了为什么出发，也模糊了要去哪里。城市的高楼里装不下一个燕巢，快节奏的生活里挤不进一段慢悠悠的思念。我们把自己活成了孤岛，却羡慕着燕子的群飞。
其实，燕子教会我们的，或许不是如何回归地理上的故乡，而是如何守护内心那个“原点”。那个原点，可能是母亲的一道拿手菜的味道，是父亲沉默的背影，是童年某个月夜听到的虫鸣。只要这些记忆的触觉还在，故乡就未曾真正远离。
它南归，穿越的是气候带。我们“回归”，需要穿越的，是堆积如山的时间，和早已习惯疏离的内心。这显然更难。
下次再看到燕子南飞，别只是伤感。问问自己：你的“南方”在哪里？你的“春天”又何时归来？ 我们无法像燕子一样，凭借本能找到回家的路。我们的归途，需要更多的勇气，和更清醒的自觉。
