“中国的崛起堪称奇迹，中国树立了一种榜样。”奥地利前总理沃尔夫冈·许塞尔在接受@起底工作室专访时说。
"China's rise is a miracle and it's a good symbol for other countries," former Austrian chancellor Wolfgang Schussel said, describing China as an indispensable force in an emerging multipolar global order.
许塞尔多次到访中国，亲眼见证了中国数十年来的深刻变化。他表示，中国的崛起堪称世界发展史上的奇迹。在短短几十年内，中国实现了从最不发达国家向中等收入国家乃至多领域领军者的历史性跨越，令人赞叹。
许塞尔强调，面对中国综合实力的持续提升，各方应基于事实和数据作出客观评估，而非被情绪化的叙事所主导。在他看来，中国的发展经验为其他国家提供了重要参考。
Having visited China multiple times over the past decades, Schussel said China's rapid rise from one of the world's least developed nations to a major global economic power is rare in modern history. He added that China's growing strength should be assessed objectively and that its development experience offers valuable lessons for other countries.
谈及国际格局，许塞尔认为，当今世界既不是由美国主导的单极体系，也不是所谓由中美主宰的“两个大国”格局，而是一个正在形成并不断深化的多极化世界。在这一过程中，中国已成为不可忽视的重要力量。
On global affairs, Schussel rejected the notion that the world is either US-led or dominated by a so-called "G2" framework involving China and the United States. Instead, he said, the international landscape is becoming increasingly multipolar, with China playing a role that can no longer be ignored.
他表示，欧洲并不希望在中美之间“进退两难”。欧洲应当“扮演自己的角色，发挥应有的作用，有自己的理念和构想并坚持下去”。
He also stressed that Europe does not wish to be "caught between two sides" or "crushed between the two superpowers of the United States and China", adding that Europe must pursue its own role and remain committed to its own ideas and principles.
