The 11th round of the Women's Volleyball League featured a key match between Tianjin and Jiangsu. Tianjin won the first set 25-18. Tianjin started 2-6 down, with both points coming from Jiangsu's service errors. Natalia's serve from position four was ineffective.
However, her backcourt serves caused problems in Jiangsu's first pass, quickly tying the score at 6-6. Zhu Hangting was still a bit inexperienced; her first attack was decent, but her backcourt attacks and counter-attacks from position two resulted in 9 points, with 3 of those being mis-hit – all of them aimed at the top of the table. However, Jiangsu also made many errors. Captain Wu Mengjie played somewhat hastily in the first set, lacking decisiveness and committing too many unforced errors.
