Shanghai Men's Volleyball Team has signed Italian veteran Filippo Lanza for the playoffs. Lanza played for Sistna in the Italian Serie A this season, helping the team avoid relegation but failing to reach the quarterfinals. According to his pre-season contract, he is eligible for a second transfer to earn extra income. He has already arrived in Shanghai. He previously signed with Shanghai in the 2021-22 season along with Vittori, but received his salary but did not play due to the pandemic. Shen Qiong, a veteran player, seems quite nostalgic, and they are looking forward to reuniting.
