China saw 17.796 million cross-border passenger trips during the 2026 Spring Festival holiday, up 10.1% year-on-year, with a single-day peak of 2.259 million on February 21, the National Immigration Administration reported. Mainland residents accounted for 9.514 million trips, while foreign nationals made 1.313 million trips—a 21.8% increase.
