nothing在日常口语交流中经常用到，既可以用以回复别人对自己的感谢，又可以回答别人的提问，它就像单词里的万金油，可以和多个单词组合，组成新的短语。

I don't know nothing：我什么都不知道
一般情况下，我们说双重否定表肯定，但也有例外的，比如I don't know nothing这个句子中，并不是表示我无所不知，其实它相当于I don't know anything 我什么都不知道，前者是常用于口语中，后者用于书面语。

Surprise nothing：根本不是
这个短语不是表示没有惊喜的意思，而是用于强烈地表示相反看法，意为根本不是这样。

前段时间全网玩梗的“Nobody knows it better than me——没有人比我更懂”，被人调侃为“懂王”。那么“没人比我更懂”的英文其实就是know better，什么都懂因而指这个人有头脑，明事理。

no one, nobody, nothing, nowhere
实际上，像我们开头说到的短语是英语中的个例，一般来说，像nobody, no one, nothing, nowhere等等都不会跟在否定词（hardly，seldom...）之后的，一般是用anyone，anybody，anything，anywhere等。

I can’t do anything.
Not: I can’t do nothing.
我什么都做不了。
She talks to hardly anyone.
Not: She talks to hardly no one.
她几乎不和任何人说话。
no one, nobody, nothing, nowhere都是用来指代人，物或者地方的缺席，其中no one和nobody的意思是一样的。no one比nobody更正式,在写作中用no one比nobody多。

nobody could answer my question.
没有人能回答我的问题。
