3月7日22时32分，金华浦江县公安局情指中心接到一通焦急的报警电话。电话那头的倪女士声音颤抖：“我女儿不见了！”
A heartwarming scene unfolded in Pujiang county, Zhejiang province, on the night of March 7, when police searching for a missing 10-year-old girl discovered she had slipped out to buy flowers for her mother ahead of International Women's Day.
当晚，倪女士下班回家发现女儿不在，原以为女儿只是在附近玩耍，可两个多小时过去了，女儿依然没有回家。她找遍周边所有角落，孩子像人间蒸发了一样。无奈之下，倪女士报了警。
接到指令，金华浦江县公安局石马派出所值班民警方航东一边安抚倪女士的情绪，一边立即调取监控倒查。画面在夜色中缓缓推进，一个瘦小的身影突然出现在屏幕上：正是走失的小女孩！
At 10:32 pm, the Pujiang county public security bureau received a distressed call from a woman surnamed Ni reporting her daughter missing.
只见女孩独自一人走在街头，手上还攥着一小束鲜花。锁定女孩的位置后，民警立即带着倪女士赶到现场。见到女儿的那一刻，倪女士的泪水再也控制不住地流下来，冲下车紧紧抱住孩子。
Officer Fang Hangdong of Shima police station quickly reassured the mother and began checking surveillance footage, which showed the girl walking alone along the street holding a small bunch of flowers.
After locating her, officers drove Ni to the scene. When she saw her daughter, the mother burst into tears and rushed forward to hug her.
女孩不知所措地抬起头：“妈妈，我就想妇女节给你买花。”一句话让在场的所有人瞬间动容。
原来，第二天就是“三八”妇女节，女孩想给妈妈一个惊喜。她悄悄出门买了花，然后走去妈妈上班的地方，想接妈妈下班一起回家。从家到妈妈上班的地方足足有4.4公里，步行需要1小时左右。她不知道妈妈已下班离开，更不知道妈妈正发了疯一样地在找她。
听到女儿的话，倪女士再也忍不住，紧紧抱着女儿，哽咽得说不出话来。
It later emerged that the girl had quietly left home to buy flowers as a surprise for her mother in celebration of International Women's Day, a gesture that moved those present.
