我们的口腔里,本来就住着成千上万的细菌。它们最爱吃的,就是我们牙齿上残留的食物碎屑。吃完之后,细菌会排出酸性物质,慢慢腐蚀牙齿最外层的“盔甲”,即牙釉质。时间久了,蛀牙就找上门了。

经过一夜的“细菌派对”,早上起来口腔里的细菌数量确实达到了一个小高峰。你可以用手指甲轻轻刮一下牙齿表面,可能会刮下来一层滑滑的、黄黄的东西,这就是牙菌斑,里面全是细菌和它们囤的“干粮”。

Upon waking, the mouth typically has a higher bacterial load, with plaque accumulating on the teeth. However, swallowing some of this bacteria during breakfast generally poses minimal risk, especially compared with leaving bacteria on the teeth overnight.

一方面,胃里的胃酸非常强大,绝大部分细菌还没到肠道就被“消灭”了;

另一方面,我们的消化道里本来就有很多细菌,它们大多数还是帮助我们消化食物的“好帮手”。

当然,这也不是说早上就可以不刷牙了。细菌虽然短时间内接触牙齿不会立刻造成伤害,但如果时间长了,它们还是会在牙面上形成牙菌斑,慢慢腐蚀牙齿。经过一整晚,细菌已经在牙齿上“安营扎寨”了,光靠咀嚼食物和唾液冲刷是赶不走它们的。所以,早上刷牙同样很重要。

睡前一定要认真刷牙

用含氟牙膏,配合巴氏刷牙法,把每一颗牙的每个面都刷干净。别忘了用牙线清理牙缝里的“漏网之鱼”。这是一天里最重要的一次口腔清洁,刷完要保持口腔环境,请勿再进食。

② 早晚各刷一次,最好不偷懒

细菌是清不完的,但我们可以通过规律刷牙减少细菌对牙齿的破坏。一天刷两次,是保护牙齿既有效又合理的频率。如果你中午也能多刷一次,那当然更好啦!
