2017年4月1日，中共中央、国务院决定设立河北雄安新区。设立雄安新区，是以习近平同志为核心的党中央为疏解北京非首都功能、深入推进京津冀协同发展作出的一项重大决策部署。9年来，在党中央坚强领导下，经过各方共同努力，雄安新区高起点规划、高标准建设、高质量发展，城市形态实现格局性变化，现代化城市形象正在显现，现代化城市治理体系不断完善，雄安新区建设和发展取得重大阶段性成果，一座“未来之城”正拔节生长。

十四届全国人大四次会议审查批准的“十五五”规划纲要提出，高标准高质量推进雄安新区建设现代化城市，完善管理体制。2026年3月23日，习近平在雄安新区高质量建设和发展座谈会上强调，要牢牢把握雄安新区作为北京非首都功能疏解集中承载地的首要功能定位，保持战略定力和历史耐心，进一步解放思想、开拓思路、加强协调、凝聚合力，以改革创新为引领增强内生发展动力，以要素资源合理集聚为重点激发新区活力，努力建设新时代创新高地和推动高质量发展样板。

要全面落实创新驱动发展战略，推动各领域改革开放前沿政策措施和具有前瞻性的创新试点示范项目在雄安落地，努力建设新功能、形成新形象、发展新产业、聚集新人才、构建新机制，使雄安新区成为新时代的创新高地和创业热土。

It is important to fully implement the strategy of innovation-driven development, and carry out pioneering policies and measures on reform and opening up in multiple areas and forward-looking trials and demonstration projects in Xiong'an New Area.
