As a pioneer in international education, the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) is committed to building an open platform that brings together academic, industrial, and social forces to explore the future of education. Amid the tides of globalisation and technological revolution, the world urgently requires well-rounded leaders equipped with cross-cultural understanding, systematic critical thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a strong sense of social responsibility.

The 2026 International Education Week has been conceived in response to this need. Across eight days and eight flagship events, it invites you to break down disciplinary and cultural boundaries, seek truth through critical inquiry, and lead change through innovation.

当数学可由钟摆“书写”为动态轨迹，当离心机将色彩“演绎”为绚烂画卷，当昆虫的纹理让蓝晒工艺“绘制”出独特的美感——这是理工与艺术的跨界共创。

本次展览汇集了来自不同专业学生的原创作品。他们脑洞大开、勇于实验，从不同视角探索科技与艺术碰撞产生的无限可能。

The STEAM Project, initiated by the Arts Centre, explores the intersection of art and STEM, giving rise to STEAM. Bringing together students from across the University at the Arts Centre, the project fosters creative exchange in which science inspires art and art, in turn, enriches scientific thinking. Through both traditional and experimental approaches, students have created artworks inspired by STEM concepts. This exhibition showcases their cross-disciplinary explorations and creative discoveries. As a launch event for International Education Week, STEAM reflects the University's commitment to diverse and interdisciplinary education.

在国际教育周期间，米兰设计周中国高校展“阳明文创”设计大赛近三年的优秀代表作将于余姚博物馆隆重呈现。本次展览是王阳明先生“知行合一”哲思的生动实践，是对“在做中学”精神的深刻诠释。

During International Education Week, outstanding design works from the past three years of the Yangming Cultural Creativity Design Competition—part of the China Collegiate Exhibition at Milan Design Week—will be showcased at the Yuyao Museum. The exhibition embodies Wang Yangming’s philosophy of "the unity of knowledge and action," offering a vivid interpretation of "learning by doing."

2026年宁波诺丁汉大学模拟法庭辩论赛将借鉴英国最高法院的形式，邀请学生以律师身份参与真实情境下的法庭辩论。

本次活动将围绕人工智能发展对高等教育及法律的影响展开，鼓励参赛者运用布兰代斯辩护法，结合多学科视角进行论证。

活动由宁波诺丁汉大学模拟联合国协会和诺丁汉大学英文辩论社（中国）联合主办。

The 2026 University of Nottingham Ningbo China Moot Court Competition will be modelled on the UK Supreme Court, inviting students to engage in real-world courtroom debates as advocates. This event will focus on the impact of artificial intelligence on higher education and the legal profession, encouraging participants to utilise the Brandeis brief method and incorporate multidisciplinary perspectives in their arguments. It is jointly organised by the UNNC Model United Nations Association and the University of Nottingham English Debate Club (China).

从“鸡毛换糖”到“世界超市”，拨浪鼓声跨越四十年，依旧在义乌回响。

“义乌行走”项目带领师生深入这座全球小商品之都，将他们的调研成果凝练为本次展览。

From "chicken feathers for candy" to the "world's supermarket," the sound of the rattle drum has echoed through forty years of development in Yiwu. Jointly launched by Nottingham University Business School China and the Department of Campus Life, the SEED Yiwu project immersed staff and students in this global hub for small‑commodities. Their research and observations have shaped this exhibition, where academic insight meets student discovery.

This concert is presented by the Ningbo Symphony Orchestra and Choir, in collaboration with the Ningbo Symphony Orchestra and the Tianjin Juilliard Vocal Centre. The programme spans East and West, past and present, resonating with contemporary themes through a rich and diverse musical repertoire. It is not only an audiovisual experience but also a practical initiative in arts education, embodying cross-disciplinary thinking, critical inquiry, and innovation.

今年是宁波诺丁汉大学暑期社会实践开展的二十周年。

二十年来，累计超过3500名学子走出校园，足迹遍布中国25个省份及世界38个国家和地区，深入山野、乡村和学校，完成调研报告1,000余份，服务时长超过12万小时。

4月15日，学校将以“廿载之行，山海共鸣”为主题，举行2026年暑期社会实践出征仪式，回顾过往、开启新程，激励宁诺学子继续用脚步丈量大地，在服务社会中书写青春篇章。

The 2026 UNNC Summer Social Practice Departure Ceremony will be held on 15 April. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the programme, under the theme "Twenty Years in Motion, the World in Resonance." Over the past two decades, generations of UNNC students have engaged with rural communities and grassroots organisations, gaining invaluable experience through social practice. The forthcoming ceremony will reflect on this legacy while opening a new chapter, inspiring students to continue exploring the world and contributing to society through meaningful action.
