US President Donald Trump issued new threats and mused about negotiations at a White House press conference Monday as the war with Iran continues.
At the start of the press conference, Trump said that Iran "can be taken out in one night, and that might be tomorrow night".
"It depends on what they do," he continued. "This is a critical period. They have a period of, well, until tomorrow at 8 o'clock."
特朗普还恐吓称，美军只需要“4小时”就能炸毁伊朗所有桥梁和发电站。他又声称，美方同伊朗方面的谈判“进展很顺利”。

特朗普在发布会上说，美方正在同伊朗方面展开对话，副总统万斯和总统特使威特科夫参与其中。

When asked about the ceasefire proposal, Trump said that it's a "significant step" but "not good enough", although it wasn't immediately clear which of several proposals he was referring to.
"But we are dealing with them. I think it's going well," Trump said. He added, "I think it's going fine, but we'll have to see."
发布会上，特朗普威胁称，如果伊朗未能在美东时间7日20时前达成协议以重新开放霍尔木兹海峡，他将发动一场历时4小时的空袭。

Trump said the administration is planning a four-hour blitz.

"We have a plan because of the power of our military, where every bridge in Iran will be decimated by 12 o'clock tomorrow night, where every power plant in Iran will be out of business, burning, exploding, and never to be used again," Trump told reporters. "I mean, complete demolition by 12 o'clock. And it will happen over a period of four hours if we want it to."
"We don't want that to happen," he added.
被媒体问及美军炸毁伊朗民用基础设施、切断电力供应是否在惩罚伊朗人民时，特朗普竟然妄称：“他们是心甘情愿的……他们甘愿承受这份苦难。”当天早些时候，他同样妄称，伊朗人民“想听到炸弹的声音”。
ABC News Chief White House Correspondent Mary Bruce asked Trump about his threats to take out Iran's energy infrastructure. "Wouldn't that be punishing Iranians for the actions of the regime?" Bruce asked.
"They would be willing to suffer that in order to have freedom," Trump responded. "We've had numerous intercepts, 'Please keep bombing.'"

According to a US official and another person close to the ongoing talks, mediators are attempting to broker a 45-day ceasefire between the US and Iran ahead of Trump's latest deadline. Iran signaled it would not accept the mediators' proposal on Monday, responding instead with its own 10-point plan.
