该测试以MBTI(Myers–Briggs Type Indicator,是一种用于评估个体性格类型的流行工具)为灵感框架,用户通过完成答题之后测出“尤物”“吗喽”等抽象自嘲标签。

The test is a playful spoof of the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), a widely known personality assessment. Instead of standard personality types, SBTI offers abstract, meme-inspired labels such as "youwu" (stunner) and "malou" (a slang term for an overworked, hapless figure), embracing a tone of ironic self-mockery. The test's landing page even declares: "MBTI is outdated. SBTI is here."

The sudden surge in popularity, starting on the evening of Thursday, overwhelmed the website's servers, causing a crash and leaving many users unable to access the test. Late on Friday, the creator released a new link, saying, "Here's the new link, with slight tweaks as suggested. It should stay online this time."

According to a note from the creator at the end of the test, it was originally made to persuade a friend who liked drinking to quit alcohol. "Because my own personality is 'misanthrope', I've roasted everyone equally. My apologies." The creator also admitted that balancing entertainment with professional accuracy was difficult, and that some descriptions might be vague or inconsistent with conventional interpretations. "If I have offended anyone, I'm truly sorry." The creator stressed that the test is for entertainment only and should not be used for commercial profit.

Media commentators have noted that unlike traditional, serious personality assessments, SBTI's absurd and playful tone — featuring meme-like labels such as "whatever person" and "the handler" — resonates strongly with young people's sense of humor and emotional needs. Without moralizing or stoking anxiety, the test uses lighthearted mockery to navigate daily life. What looks like blind bandwagon-jumping, they argue, is actually a distinctive form of emotional expression for today's youth.
