4月16日，国家安全部发布消息称，网约车司机陈师傅被国家安全机关授予公民举报特别重大贡献奖励。
A ride-hailing driver in China has been awarded a top national security honor after helping thwart an attempted espionage operation involving foreign nationals.
据悉，某日陈师傅接到了两名外籍乘客，当车辆行驶到某部队营区附近时，两人对着部队大门连续拍照并低声交流。
他们下车后，陈师傅悄悄跟随观察，并拨打12339报告情况。
Authorities said the driver, surnamed Chen, became suspicious when two passengers began photographing a military compound during a trip. After dropping them off, he reported the incident via the national security hotline, 12339.
随后，陈师傅打开了所有接单软件默默等待，果然再次接到了这两人的订单。待他们上车后，陈师傅改变行车路线，朝着部队大门开去。
Chen then activated multiple ride-hailing platforms and waited nearby. Shortly afterward, he received another booking request from the same individuals. When they re-entered his vehicle, he altered the route and drove back toward the military site.
发现情况不对后，两人慌忙删除手机内的照片，陈师傅当机立断，加速冲向部队大门，随即一个猛刹停车，抢下手机保留证据。部队哨兵迅速上前，控制了两名外籍人员。
Sensing something was amiss, the passengers hastily deleted photos from their phones. Chen responded quickly, accelerating toward the compound gate before making a sudden stop and securing a device to preserve evidence. Military personnel on duty promptly intervened and detained the two individuals.
经查，这两名外籍人员受境外间谍情报机关指使，此次企图利用网约车的便利性，隐蔽获取军事设施的地理位置、营区布防等信息。
Investigators later determined that the suspects had been directed by a foreign intelligence agency to use ride-hailing services to collect sensitive information on military facilities, including their locations and layouts.
