何润东回应称，虽然自己只是项羽的扮演者，还是希望给大家留下美好印象。“那个是30多岁时候，现在已经50多岁了。你想想看，大家欢呼，他出去很帅，一摔下来……那不就破灭了，对项羽也不太尊敬。所以我觉得，还是做我比较有把握的事情。10年前我一定是骑着马过去，年过半百了我就……”
对此，网友表示，挺真诚的，他看重的不是自己，而是项羽的形象。

4月13日下午，演员何润东发视频宣布，接受江苏宿迁的邀约，将于4月18日以项羽扮演者的身份来到项羽故里宿迁，助阵“苏超”。
比赛方面，经过90分钟的激烈争夺，宿迁队最终以2比0击败南京队。
