5月4日16时43分左右，长沙浏阳市华盛烟花制造燃放有限公司车间发生爆炸。5月5日下午，当地举行新闻发布会，发布会现场默哀。据通报，事故已导致26人死亡，61人受伤。

Search and rescue operations have been basically completed following a fireworks factory explosion in Liuyang, Central China's Hunan province, local authorities said on Tuesday. The blast left 26 people dead and 61 others injured.

目前，已基本完成现场搜救、人员核查等前期处置；依法对涉事企业负责人采取控制措施；实时监测空气和水体，相关环境指标正常。

The explosion took place at around 4:40 pm on Monday at a facility belonging to Huasheng Fireworks Manufacturing and Display in Liuyang, a county-level city under Changsha, the capital of Hunan.

Chen Bozhang, mayor of Changsha, told a news conference on Tuesday afternoon that lawful control measures had been taken against those responsible for the company. Air and water quality in the affected area remain normal, according to real-time monitoring.
