美国国防部8日开始陆续公布不明飞行物（UFO）相关文件，并表示政府尚无法对所观测现象的本质作出确切定论。

五角大楼称，此次公布的文件“全新、前所未见”，属于“尚无定论的事件”。政府目前仍无法确定所观测现象的真实本质，原因包括相关数据和资料不足。

The Pentagon on Friday began the release of "never-before-seen" files on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), commonly known as unidentified flying objects (UFOs).

这些文件统一存放于一个专门的政府网站。目前，网站已上传161份文件，包括视频、照片及原始资料文档。五角大楼表示，后续还将持续发布更多文件。

The collection is being housed on a government website, war.gov/UFO. Additional files will be released by the US Department of Defense on a rolling basis, according to a press release from the department.

A total of 161 files are currently available on the website.

五角大楼表示，欢迎私营企业和民间运用分析能力、信息资源和专业知识，协助开展相关研究。所有公开文件均已完成国家安全审查，但其中许多资料尚未经过专业分析和解读。

这次发布UFO相关文件是按照美国总统特朗普要求。今年2月，特朗普下令启动相关程序，对所有与不明空中现象（UAP）、UFO及有关的政府文件进行识别和解密，以提高相关事件的透明度。

According to the release, the disclosure follows US President Donald Trump's directive to begin identifying and declassifying government files related to UAP.
