Police officers at a railway station in Henan province helped an elderly couple board a sold-out high-speed train so they could see their daughter one last time after learning she had jumped from a building following a struggle with depression.
近日，郑州铁路公安局洛阳公安处在账号“平安洛铁”发布了一则长视频，引发网友关注。视频中，5月6日上午，河南一位老人急需和老伴一同前往江苏淮安，但自己不会买票，无奈向驻站特警求助。

经特警张童童查询，当日车票已售罄，老人瞬间情绪失控：“我真是着急的呀，我闺女抑郁症跳楼了……”
After officer Zhang Tongtong discovered that all tickets had sold out, the man broke down in tears, saying his daughter had jumped from a building amid her struggle with depression.
了解完情况后，民警张慧赶到车站服务台，向工作人员说明原委，申请开通了先上车后补票的绿色通道：“老爷爷要去看他女儿最后一面了，咱们能不能安排一下？”
Another officer, Zhang Hui, then coordinated with station staff to allow the couple to board first and complete ticket procedures afterward.
得知民警成功帮他买到票时，老人情绪再度决堤，崩溃大哭，张慧一边轻声安慰“我们都是你们在外头的儿女，都是互相帮忙的”，一边担心他和老伴第一次坐高铁不熟悉，又怕肢体四级残疾的老人熬不住全程707公里4小时的无座车程，特意买了两个小马扎，还兑换了现金以备不时之需，联系列车乘警照看。
Concerned about the couple's more than 700-kilometer standing-room journey, Zhang Hui bought them two small folding stools, prepared cash for emergencies and contacted onboard railway police to assist them during the trip.
10时53分，两位老人顺利登上列车。列车抵达后，民警持续跟进老人状况，得知老人顺利到站后才放心。
The couple boarded the train at 10:53 am and later arrived safely at their destination.
