Glowing plankton (a phenomenon produced by the bioluminescence of the sea sparkle) awaken with the tides, turning the waves a luminous blue — locals call it "blue tears".
它像极光一样，需要水温、风向和一点点运气才能相遇。有人守了三晚只收获一片漆黑，也有人恰好路过，就看见浪花里落满了星星。
Like the aurora, it depends on water temperature, wind direction, and a bit of luck to appear. Some wait three nights but see only darkness, while others stumble upon it and find the waves filled with stars.
