黄石同志在年轻书家里是我比较喜欢的，我感觉这个青年很实在，很文气，是块学书的材料。这次他来看望我，带来了他最近写得几幅作品和书法集子让我看，我很意外，写的非常好，从他的作品中可以看出，他在古代传统法帖上是下了一番功夫的，用笔灵动，线条老道，结字严谨，取法高古，技法娴熟，学书情感很丰沛。观其整幅作品总能给人美的享受，不浮不躁，气韵横生；构造新颖，极其富有思想，艺术气息很浓，持之以恒将会有广阔的发展前景。
