推开老家杂物间积着薄灰的木门，最先撞入眼帘的就是这台红漆还鲜亮的手扶微耕机。它安安稳稳靠在白墙根，被各色编织袋、农具杂物围在中间，像一位卸甲归田的老战士，静静守着一屋子烟火气，也藏着我家大半段的农耕记忆。
这台柴油机微耕机是父亲十年前咬咬牙攒钱换的“新家伙”。在它之前，我们家的地全靠锄头翻、耕牛犁，遇上春播抢农时，父亲天不亮就下地，太阳落山还直不起腰，一亩地翻完要耗上整整大半天。买回来那天，整个院子都热闹了——红通通的机身，黑亮的消音器，铁齿轮爪锃亮得能反光，父亲围着它转了三圈，连晚饭都捧着饭碗蹲在边上看，擦了又擦机身上的浮灰。那之后的每个春天，它都是地里最得力的帮手。
天刚亮，父亲就把它推到地头，摇响柴油机的瞬间，“突突突”的轰鸣打破村子的安静，黑蓝的烟顺着排气管慢慢飘进麦地里，扶手震得微微发麻，深齿铁轮一转，就翻开齐刷刷齐整湿润的泥垄，比人工快了不止十倍。原先要忙半个月的翻地活儿，现在五天就能干完，父亲靠在田埂抽烟的时候，总摸着这台机器笑，说这玩意儿才是真正的“壮劳力”。后来我们家的地转包给了村里的种粮大户，父亲也跟着我们住进了县城，这台跟着他出了好几年力的微耕机，舍不得卖，也扔不下，就拉回了老家的储藏室，和那些空化肥袋、捆好的水管、旧箩筐堆在了一起。
