China has submitted draft revisions to its Government Procurement Law for an initial review by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, according to a report by Xinhua News Agency⁠.

The draft aims to improve the government procurement framework and provide legal support for building a unified national market, while strengthening policy implementation, whole-process management, fair competition and oversight mechanisms.

The proposed revision contains 104 articles across 10 chapters. Key changes include adjusting the scope of the law, enhancing the policy role of government procurement, improving transaction rules, strengthening fair competition, and reinforcing supervision and anti-corruption measures.
