WeCom, Tencent's workplace collaboration platform, has begun internal testing of an AI agent called "Dayuan", according to information obtained by Jiemian News.

The move follows reports that WeChat has started testing new AI-powered features within its consumer-facing platform.

According to people familiar with the matter, Dayuan is designed to understand user requests without requiring users to repeatedly provide context. The agent can draw on existing workplace data within WeCom, including group chats, documents, meetings, emails and calendars, to generate context-aware responses tailored to specific workplace contexts.
