位于四川省的双江口水电站首台机组于6月26日正式并网发电，标志着这一世界级水电工程进入运行阶段。

The first generating unit at the Shuangjiangkou Hydropower Station in southwest China's Sichuan Province was officially connected to the grid on June 26, marking the start of operations at the world-class hydropower project.

【知识点】

双江口水电站位于四川省阿坝藏族羌族自治州马尔康市、金川县境内，是大渡河上游控制性水库和“龙头”电站，工程以发电为主，兼顾防洪，总装机容量200万千瓦，设计年均发电量约77亿千瓦时。项目历经11年持续建设，目前已完成二期蓄水，整体工程形象满足机组投运条件，首台机组并网后运行工况平稳、安全、可控。工程采用砾石土心墙堆石坝，最大坝高315米，是世界级高坝。

工程全面投运后，预计每年可为下游梯级电站群带来约66亿千瓦时的电量增益，显著提升四川电网调峰调频能力，优化电力系统电源结构，同时可有效增强大渡河流域防洪能力，成为长江上游重要的防洪安全屏障。

Coal will be used in a cleaner and more efficient way, and greater efforts will be made to explore and develop petroleum and natural gas, discover more untapped reserves, and increase production. We will speed up the planning and development of a system for new energy sources, properly balance hydropower development and ecological conservation, and develop nuclear power in an active, safe, and orderly manner. We will strengthen our systems for energy production, supply, storage, and marketing to ensure energy security.
