Dr. Feng Li earned his Master of Science in Molecular Immunology from the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and a Ph.D. in Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Guangzhou Institutes of Biomedicine and Health (GIBH), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). His postdoctoral training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, under the mentorship of Professor Lishan Su, honed his expertise in developing cutting-edge HBV mouse models. This rigorous academic foundation solidified his proficiency in molecular virology, with a focus on HBV, and prepared him to bridge basic research and clinical applications in viral infectious diseases.

Dr. Li boasts extensive experience studying diverse viruses, including: Hepatitis viruses (HAV, HBV, HCV, HDV), Respiratory pathogens (SARS-CoV-2, influenza, RSV), Emerging threats (Mpox, HIV, Norovirus). One of his expertise is in generating viral infection mouse models, including immune system humanized mouse models, liver-humanized FAH mouse models, innate immunity deficient and Interferon (IFN) pathway humanized mouse for diverse virus infections.

Currently, Dr. Li serves as Professor and Director of the Scientific Research Center at the Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center, Fudan University. His research integrates medical virology, viral-host interactions, and infection immunology, with a core emphasis on 1) Interferon-mediated antiviral therapies for chronic HBV infections, 2) Interferon-associated mucosal antiviral prophylaxis to enhance immune responses at barrier sites, and 3) Translating bench findings to clinical solutions.

Agnieszka Freda is Executive Publisher and Team Lead at Elsevier STM Journals, based in Amsterdam, where she oversees a portfolio of virology and vaccinology journals and co-leads Elsevier’s workstream on scientific reproducibility and SAGER implementation. She holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Lodz University of Technology and has been with Elsevier since 2013. Alongside her publishing role, she is an active contributor to science communication and champions gender-responsive and reproducible research practices across Elsevier's journal portfolio and science at large.

一、基础病毒学与临床病毒学

1.病毒复制机制、病毒核酸修饰、病毒 - 宿主相互作用、病毒固有免疫逃逸策略、不同细胞内病毒复制异质性及组织嗜性。

2.病毒突变、演化与宿主适应规律:包括人类免疫缺陷病毒(HIV)、乙型肝炎病毒(HBV)等毒株突变动力学;流感抗原漂移等新发变异病毒、人畜共患病跨物种溢出机制;临床耐药突变株基因型解析。

3.病毒感染快速分子检测技术,特别是即时检测技术的开发与应用。

4.病毒致病机制及器官特异性损伤机制、病毒混合感染协同致病效应;病毒感染诱导的免疫应答图谱、免疫保护作用与免疫持久性。

5.抗病毒治疗与预防的临床试验,含研究者发起临床试验(IIT)、Ⅰ/Ⅱ/Ⅲ 期临床试验。

二、疫苗与抗病毒治疗药物

1.靶向病毒入侵 / 膜融合、复制关键酶(如聚合酶抑制剂)、病毒释放环节的治疗性抗病毒药物。

2.广谱抗病毒抑制剂、靶向宿主因子疗法及传统中药抗病毒制剂。

3.病毒突变与变异株基因组监测、药物逃逸演化规律及抗病毒耐药产生机制。

4.疫苗设计、新型疫苗平台技术(信使核糖核酸 mRNA、病毒载体等)、佐剂创新、疫苗递送策略及脂质纳米颗粒载体。

5.中和抗体开发与应用探索。

三、公共卫生领域

1.基于循证依据评估疫情防控策略(疫苗公平分配、旅行管控措施有效性等);全球疫苗可及性难题与本土化生产政策研究。

2.病毒传播动力学建模及精准防控政策制定。

3.病毒感染相关健康公平差距及社会影响因素分析。

4.消除疫苗犹豫的跨人群干预方案。

5.抗病毒药物、疫苗和治疗方案的储备体系与应急医疗体系建设。
