片方称，电影上映后获得很多观众好评，但“此时的市场空间，已经远远不足以让想看这部作品的观众从容地走进影院”，并表示“感恩关注，静待下一次相逢”。
On Saturday evening, the animated film Three Kingdoms: The Beginning announced on social media that it would temporarily suspend its theatrical run while seeking a new release date. In a statement, the production team said, "To honor the three years of dedication by our thousand-member team and give more moviegoers the opportunity to see the film, we have decided to temporarily suspend its current theatrical release."
该片上映16天，累计票房8145.6万，豆瓣评分8.1。
The film had been in theaters for 16 days, grossing 81.46 million yuan and earning an 8.1 rating on the Chinese review platform Douban.

The first installment in Light Chaser Animation's Three Kingdoms series, the film was created by the same team behind the acclaimed Chang'an. Set at the dawn of the Three Kingdoms (220-280) era, it centers on the struggle for control of Luoyang, telling a story of political intrigue and pivotal choices against the backdrop of the Eastern Han dynasty's (25-220) final years.
The film combines traditional Chinese aesthetics with epic storytelling, balancing historical authenticity with heroic themes.
电影制片人宋依依介绍说，在创作过程中参考了很多资料，反复打磨细节，力求呈现汉代洛阳的风貌与时代气质，让观众可以身临其境感受强汉落幕、乱世争雄的磅礴张力。
Producer Song Yiyi said the team conducted extensive historical research and paid close attention to detail in recreating the atmosphere of Han-era Luoyang. "We wanted audiences to feel the epic tension of an empire in decline and the rise of new powers," she said.
“这不止是一部动画电影，更是我们想长期深耕、逐步完整呈现的‘三国系列’。”影片监制于洲介绍说，一朝风起洛城，群雄奔赴山河，属于三国真正的序章，即将徐徐展开。
