近年来，细胞焦亡（Pyroptosis）作为一种程序性细胞死亡形式，因其由 Gasdermin 家族蛋白直接在膜上打孔介导的独特机制，已成为细胞死亡与免疫学领域的前沿热点。Gasdermin 蛋白在从哺乳动物到真菌、细菌的多个物种中高度保守，在宿主防御与免疫稳态维持中扮演着多样且关键的角色。
本次会议将首次聚焦 Gasdermin 蛋白，对标国际顶级学术会议，系统探讨其在炎症小体依赖与非依赖情境下、涵盖不同生物模型与人类系统中的多元功能。议题将围绕 Gasdermin 蛋白的自我抑制、激活机制、翻译后调控等最新研究成果展开，并深入展望其在新型疗法中的广阔前景，为推动多种人类疾病的治疗突破提供重要契机。
Pyroptosis, a lytic form of programmed cell death mediated by gasdermin family pore-forming proteins, has rapidly emerged as a pivotal research theme in cell death and immunology in recent years. Gasdermin proteins are highly conserved across a wide range of species—from mammals and fungi to bacteria—and play essential and diverse roles in host defense and the maintenance of immune homeostasis.
For the first time, we are convening a Keystone-style symposium dedicated to this remarkable protein family. The meeting will comprehensively explore both inflammasome-dependent and inflammasome-independent functions of gasdermins across model organisms and human systems. Sessions will also address the mechanistic and structural basis of gasdermin autoinhibition, activation, and post-translational regulation, as well as their promising applications in the development of novel therapeutics for a range of human diseases.

Each presenting author may submit only one abstract.
All submissions will be reviewed by the organizing committee for scientific quality and alignment with the symposium's scope and topics.
Corresponding authors of accepted abstracts will receive a confirmation email.
Accommodation fees will be covered for presenters of selected short talks.
