如果你们以为暑期的海归校园一定是静悄悄的，那可就猜错了。

当我们翻开海归这个月的相册，发现镜头里装满了各种各样的表情——

幼儿园孩子眯起眼睛，笑着举起自己的蓝晒作品；实验室里，中学生握着解剖刀，紧张又好奇地寻找青蛙的坐骨神经；泳池边，游累了趴在池沿上休息的小孩，嘴角有藏不住的小得意……

镜头转到校外：高尔夫赛场上，少年屏住呼吸，握紧球杆；马背上，女孩身体绷紧，专注而笃定……

这个七月，海归人依然很忙。

放假了，正是自在生长的好时候

90%英文浸润，100%的快乐

幼儿园的夏日清晨，是从外教蹲在门口跟每个孩子击掌开始的。

今年暑假，海归幼儿园启动“微留学”模式——全天外教带班，英文占比90%。

第一期“自然探险家”，孩子们像小小建筑师一样搭树屋、在光影实验室里追光玩色、去湖边撒欢收集自然物，每一天都在真实的自然里跑跳、发现、提问。

第二期“非遗创承人”，小手动起来做蓝晒、玩扎染、用3D打印笔画青花——还学着用英文讲中国故事。

从探索自然到传承文化，从体能挑战到艺术创作——这个夏天，孩子们的每一天都是新鲜的。

这四周，很有深度

小学部的夏令营，主打“四维深度成长”。

连续四周，孩子们每天沉浸式扎进英文阅读、STEAM、美术、体育等课程，在各个领域痛快畅游。

英文阅读课由外教带着读章节书，提升英语，锻炼批判性思维；STEAM课上，项目式学习把科学、工程、艺术揉在一起，从画蓝图到搭模型，完整走完项目式学习的闭环；美术课接轨PYP探究主题，孩子学习用多元媒介自由表达；体育课不只有游泳，还有球类和团队协作……

此外，每周两次的校外社会实践，把学习这件事，从教室延伸到了更广阔的天地里。

动静结合，知行合一，不是说说而已。

被哈佛教授点赞的少年们

本月最亮眼的当属这群少年。

七月中旬，全球院士公益创新英才营于海归校园落幕。八天里，全国数十名经过选拨的中学生跟随哈佛 Engert 教授钻研认知科学，学习神经实操、动物导航研究与模型优化等前沿课题。

结营汇报上，各组以全英文展示实验方案，Engert 教授给出高度评价：“你们的投入与思辨能力不输哈佛本科生，部分表现更为出色。”

有人在这里完成了跨学科启蒙，有人学会了在团队里倾听不同声音，有人在教授的鼓励下第一次敢追问“为什么不能换个思路”。

结营时，教授现场为大家颁发证书，镜头定格的不仅是荣誉，更是少年们被科研点燃的自信。

在芯片车间里，上一堂职业体验课

最好的职业启蒙，通常不在课本里。

7月初，中学部的学生走进苏州科阳半导体有限公司。

换上无尘服、穿过风淋室，同学们隔着观察窗，第一次亲眼看到芯片封装的全流程。300多道工序环环相扣，任何环节出错整片报废——课本上那句“精密制造”，突然有了具体的重量。

参观结束后，学生们还与公司领导进行了座谈，了解到原来“中国芯”背后，是技术、商业、供应链的精密配合。

这次半导体之行得到了海归家长人才库的大力支持，是海归“职业体验前置”理念的又一次落地。

拼搏，让夏天更热烈

冠军的养成：高尔夫赛场摘得双金

在江苏省第二十一届运动会青少年高尔夫球比赛上，两位从幼儿园起就读于海归的少年——Rene Wang和Rayson Xiao取得了亮眼的成绩。

即将升入八年级的Rene以首轮并列第一晋级决赛，决赛前期遭遇失误后及时调整，后半程稳步追分，最后成功斩获男子乙组团体金牌、个人银牌。

11 岁的 Rayson 也在赛场上携队友拿下男子丙组团体冠军，个人位列第二；他手握十余枚赛事奖牌，曾在别克全国青少年赛加洞绝杀夺冠。

高尔夫带给他们的不只是胜负技巧——更是在压力下保持冷静，在失败后重新站起。

骑士精神：跨越障碍，更超越自己

七月下旬落幕的省运会马术比赛上，两位海归女生也站上了领奖台。

Maggie是国家一级运动员，过去几年，她几乎站遍了国内国际马术赛事的各个领奖台。训练中不止一次意外落马，她也始终不曾轻言放弃。本届省运会，她与相伴多年的爱马携手拿下100-105CM级别季军，还在120CM级别决赛中斩获第八名。

赛场的另一边，Hazel的开局并不顺利——第一杆远起跳丢缰，至少延误了三秒。但她迅速平复心态，放下包袱全力冲刺，最终逆势摘得100-105CM级别铜牌。

两位女生，两条不同的成长曲线，指向同一个答案——在海归，体育从来不是“副科”，而是全人教育的核心拼图。从伤痛中重返赛场的坚韧，在失误后甩掉包袱的果敢，这些品质，远比奖牌本身更珍贵。

舞台从不辜负站上去的人

在2026年度“希望之星”暨希语盛典演讲类江苏省总决选中，海归学子们表现非常亮眼。

Pu Jinchen、Chen Haochen、Wang Xuanling、Wang Kelaimeng四位同学斩获特等奖；Yuan Changyi、Lin Xinni、Lin Weitong等16名学生获得一等奖，另有数十名同学分获二、三等奖。

获奖名单很长，但比名单更长的，是孩子们日复一日的积累。在海归，英语不仅是一门科目，更是一种学习和认识世界的工具。而语言素养，也不仅是分数和奖项，更是那份随时可以站上台、自然开口的从容。

你们在向前跑，校园也在悄悄变更好。

这个暑期，学校投入巨资，同步启动了几十项改造工程——剧场、教学楼、食堂、体育馆、宿舍、室外活动区……

工人们正顶着高温，把图纸上的一笔一划，一点点变成现实。

等九月推开校门的那一刻，你会发现——你的校园，偷偷升了级。

If you thought the OCAC campus would be quiet over the summer, think again.

Flipping through this month's photo album, we found every kind of expression you can imagine—

Kindergarteners squinting in the sunlight, proudly holding up their cyanotype prints. Middle schoolers in the lab, scalpels in hand, half nervous and half curious as they searched for a frog's sciatic nerve. By the pool, a child resting at the edge after a long swim, a hint of pride tugging at the corner of their mouth.

Flip a few more pages and the scene shifts outdoors: a young golfer on the course, gripping the club with bated breath; a girl on horseback, body taut, focused and steady as she approaches the next jump.

This July, the OCAC community was anything but quiet.

Summer Break, Time to Grow Free

90% English Immersion, 100% Joy

Summer mornings in the OCAC Kindergarten start with a high-five from the foreign teacher at the door.

This year, we launched a "mini study-abroad" model—foreign teachers leading the class all day, with English making up 90% of the language environment.

In Session 1, "Nature Explorers," children built treehouses like little architects, chased light and color in the shadow lab, and roamed the lakeside collecting natural treasures. Every day was a new chance to run, discover, and ask questions in the great outdoors.

In Session 2, "Heritage Creators," little hands learned cyanotype, tried tie-dye, and used 3D pens to draw blue-and-white porcelain patterns—all while practicing how to tell these Chinese stories in English.

From exploring nature to preserving culture, from physical challenges to artistic creation—every day this summer brought something new.

Four Weeks of Real Depth

The Primary School summer program focused on "four-dimensional deep growth."

For four consecutive weeks, children dove into English reading, STEAM, art, and PE—not just scratching the surface, but going deep in every area.

English reading, led by foreign teachers, built critical thinking through chapter books. STEAM classes used project-based learning to blend science, engineering, and art—from blueprints to models, completing the full project cycle. Art connected with PYP inquiry units, encouraging free expression through a variety of media. And PE went beyond swimming to include ball sports and team games.

Twice a week, off-campus social practice trips extended learning far beyond the classroom. At OCAC, "balance and integration" isn't just a slogan—it's how we learn.

The Teens Who Impressed a Harvard Professor

One of the brightest highlights of the month: the Global Academician Public Benefit Innovation Camp, hosted on the OCAC campus in mid-July.

Over eight days, dozens of selected middle school students from across the country dove into cognitive science with Harvard Professor Engert, studying neural mechanisms, animal navigation research, and model optimization.

At the final presentation, each team presented their experimental designs in English. Professor Engert was full of praise: "Your engagement and critical thinking are on par with—and in some cases even surpass—the undergraduates I teach at Harvard."

For some, this was their first taste of interdisciplinary inquiry. For others, it was learning to really listen in a team. And for many, it was the first time they dared to ask, "Why not try a different approach?"

The professor handed out certificates at the closing ceremony—and in that moment, the camera captured not just an honor, but the spark of confidence ignited by real research.

A Career Lesson Inside a Chip Factory

The best career exploration doesn't always happen in a textbook.

In early July, our secondary students visited Suzhou Keyang Semiconductor Co., Ltd.

After donning cleanroom suits and passing through an air shower, they stood at the observation window and watched the full chip packaging process for the first time. Over 300 interconnected steps—any mistake at any stage, and the entire wafer is scrapped. Suddenly, the phrase "precision manufacturing" had real weight.

During the Q&A session afterward, students learned that behind "China's chips" lies a delicate interplay of technology, business, and supply chains.

This visit was made possible through OCAC's parent talent network—a powerful resource of over 300 highly educated families, half of whom hold advanced degrees. It's another example of OCAC's commitment to "career exposure, early and real."

Hard Work Makes Summer Shine

Double Gold on the Golf Course

At the 21st Jiangsu Provincial Games Youth Golf Tournament, two OCAC students who have been with us since kindergarten—Rene Wang and Rayson Xiao—delivered outstanding performances.

Rene, about to enter Grade 8, advanced to the finals tied for first after the first round. Despite some early mistakes in the finals, he regained his composure, steadily made up ground, and ultimately secured team gold and individual silver.

Eleven-year-old Rayson, already a seasoned competitor, claimed team gold in the boys' Group C and placed second individually. He has won over a dozen medals to date, including a dramatic playoff-winning "birdie" at the Buick National Junior Elite Tournament.

Golf has taught them more than technique—it's taught them to stay calm under pressure and rise after setbacks.

Equestrian Spirit: Clearing Barriers, Overcoming Self

At the Provincial Games Equestrian Competition in late July, two OCAC girls also stepped onto the podium.

Maggie, a National Level 1 Athlete, has stood on podiums across domestic and international equestrian events over the years. Despite multiple falls and injuries, she never gave up. At this year's Provincial Games, she claimed bronze in the 100–105 cm category (Group A) and placed eighth in the competitive 120 cm final.

On the other side of the arena, Hazel didn't have a smooth start—a long takeoff at the first jump caused her to lose her reins for at least three seconds. But she quickly shook off the pressure, went all in, picked up speed through the second half, and fought her way back to bronze in the 100–105 cm category (Group B).

Two students, two different paths, but one shared conclusion: at OCAC, sport is never an "extra"—it's a core pillar of holistic education. The resilience to return after injury, the courage to let go after mistakes—these qualities are worth far more than any medal.

The Stage Never Disappoints Those Who Step Up

At the 2026 "Star of Hope" English Speaking Competition Jiangsu Provincial Finals, OCAC students shone bright.

Pu Jinchen, Chen Haochen, Wang Xuanling, and Wang Kelaimeng all won top prizes. Sixteen others, including Yuan Changyi, Lin Xinni, and Lin Weitong, received first-place awards, with dozens more earning second and third-place honors.

The winners' list is long—but what's even longer is the accumulation of effort behind each name. At OCAC, English is more than a subject—it's a tool for learning and for making sense of the world. And true language competence isn't measured by awards alone—it's the confidence to stand on any stage, and speak with ease.

You've been running forward, and behind you, the campus has been quietly getting better too.

This summer, the school made a significant investment in dozens of renovation projects—the theater, academic buildings, cafeteria, gymnasium, dormitories, outdoor activity areas, and more. Workers are pushing through the summer heat, turning every line on the blueprints into reality, one step at a time.

When you push open the school gates this September, you'll find that your campus has quietly leveled up.
