兰州今夏天气较为复杂，高温干燥与突如其来的阵雨交替出现。黄河穿城而过，两岸的滨河路和河滩地成了市民们避暑纳凉的热门去处。傍晚时分，不少市民喜欢走到水边，感受河风带来的清凉。然而，消防救援部门提醒：当前正值汛期，黄河水位在降水后可能出现快速涨落，河岸土壤在水流冲刷和干湿交替作用下结构极不稳定，极易发生塌陷和滑坡。市民在黄河边纳凉时，务必与河岸边缘保持足够的安全距离，切勿以身试险。

河岸塌陷的发生往往毫无征兆。长期被河水浸泡的下部土体处于饱和状态，而上部土体在连日高温下水分蒸发，出现干缩裂缝。当上游出现降雨导致水位突然上涨或流速加快时，水流对河岸的侧向冲刷力急剧增强，被掏空的河岸底部承受不住上方土体重量，便会在某一刻轰然塌入河中。在岸边游玩的人如果正站在塌陷区域，根本来不及反应就会被带入滚滚黄河水。黄河含沙量大，水流湍急，水下暗流漩涡极多，一旦落水，生还概率极低。

因此，市民在黄河边休闲纳凉时，一定要选择在有安全护栏的步道和平台上活动，严禁翻越护栏下到河滩、河心岛和裸露的浅滩上。带孩子游玩的家长，必须时刻抓紧孩子的手，不能让儿童离开视线独自在水边玩耍。不要在河岸边搭帐篷过夜。如果发现河岸边缘出现新的裂缝、地面有下陷迹象，应立即远离并拨打相关管理部门电话报告。遇到上游来水或听到泄洪警报时，要迅速有序撤离到安全地带。黄河是壮美的，也是无情的，保持安全距离，是对生命最好的守护。
