【1986年图灵奖得主罗伯特·塔扬点赞中国基础科研】#2026国际基础科学大会# 在北京拉开帷幕。本届大会首次设立基础科学奖章，覆盖数学、物理、工程三大领域，表彰全球取得革命性突破的科学家。9位首届基础科学奖章得主、4位菲尔兹奖得主、1位图灵奖得主以及80余位国际大奖获得者齐聚一堂。作为这些顶尖人才中的一员，1986年图灵奖得主、美国计算机科学家罗伯特·塔扬在接受采访时表示，中国对基础研究的投入“令人印象深刻”。The 2026 International Congress of Basic Science (ICBS) has opened in Beijing, with the inaugural ICBS Medal introduced at the event. The medal covers three major fields – mathematics, physics and engineering – recognizing scientists who have made revolutionary breakthroughs. Nine ICBS medalists, four Fields Medalists, one Turing Award winner and more than 80 recipients of other international awards have gathered at the congress. Robert Tarjan, the 1986 Turing Award winner and American computer scientist attending the ICBS, praised China's investment in basic research as "impressive" in an interview.
