诗与画，是文人内心情志的双向流淌。陈持平教授以丙烯彩笔铺展山河月色，以狂草笔墨书写千古辞章，将古典诗词的悠远意境，融于当代绘画的视觉表达，一笔一画之间，既有对天地风月的凝望，亦有对生命不息的思索。
我在盼望中等待妳。这一份绵长的期许，流淌在陈持平教授一系列以月、江、鸿雁为意象的作品之中。张若虚的《春江花月夜》，千百年来以月色江海叩问人心，成为千古绝唱，也成为教授创作的精神源泉。
春江潮水连海平，海上明月共潮生。滟滟随波千万里，何处春江无月明。一轮皓月悬于夜幕，清辉倾洒万顷海面。在丙烯画作里，沉沉夜色之上圆月当空，波光于海面层层荡漾，寥寥小舟浮于浩渺江海，将诗句中江海共月的辽阔图景落于画布。与之相配的狂草书法，笔势奔涌跌宕，墨色浓淡挥洒，把春江潮涌、明月东升的磅礴气韵凝于纸上，笔墨随心绪起伏，字里行间皆是江海月色的浩荡诗意。
鸿雁长飞光不度，鱼龙潜跃水成文。长空鸿雁振翅远翔，水光流转，水底生灵搅动圈圈波纹。画作中，或见雁阵迎着天光列队翱翔，越过起伏层叠的原野；或见落日熔金的水乡泽国，耕牛立在浅水之间，群鸟起落翩跹，晚霞漫染天地。飞鸟是向往，是奔赴，是遥遥相望的惦念，呼应着 “我在盼望中等待妳” 的深情，把那份藏于时光里的等候，寄给长空与月色。山野群像仰望山巅弯月，粉紫夜空缀满点点星芒，山峰托住一弯新月，人间众生向着星月舒展姿态，期盼、向往、追寻，都化作画面里鲜活的力量。
“苟日新，日日新，又日新。” 古老的箴言，亦是陈持平教授艺术创作的真实写照。绘画与书法交替并进，不断探索媒介与表达的边界。色彩浓烈大胆的丙烯绘画，挣脱传统范式，用奔放的色块塑造山川、星月、飞鸟人间；大草书法纵情挥洒，不拘法度表象，直抒胸中意趣。日日思索，日日落笔，在古典文脉的土壤之上，持续生出属于当下的艺术表达。
他取古人诗词之魂，融当代绘画之形，望月而思，观雁寄情，将等待、期许、生生不息的哲思，尽数收纳于笔墨丹青。月华照江海，鸿雁向云天，诗情画意两相映照，于色彩与笔墨之间，诉说跨越岁月的内心告白。
