Adele 在 2021 年接受《Vogue》采访时透露，她有意避免为《30》写另一首像《Hello》那样“夸张”的歌：

“我不想要另一首那样的歌。那首歌把我推向了另一个成名的高度，我不想再经历一次。”（I don’t want another song like that. That song catapulted me in fame to another level that I don’t want to happen again.）
