【在敦煌收集12000个太阳】敦煌地处塔克拉玛干沙漠东北边缘，汉朝设郡、丝路交会。如今，中国首座百兆瓦级熔盐塔式光热电站以逾1.2万面定日镜聚光，熔盐储热可在日落后发电乃至24小时连续供电。但沙尘暴威胁电站安全，为恢复植被，护林员与科研人员种梭梭、精准滴灌、固风沙口。中国持续推进三北防护林、南水北调、西电东送，在戈壁构建生态与清洁能源体系。Historically, Dunhuang, on the northeastern edge of the Taklimakan Desert, was a Han Dynasty commandery and a hub on the Silk Road. Today, it’s the location of China's first 100-megawatt molten-salt tower solar thermal plant. With more than 12,000 heliostats, it stores heat and generates power around the clock, despite the constant menace of sandstorms. To mitigate this threat, a greening project is underway, restoring vegetation by planting saxaul and using precision drip irrigation. In addition, the sand is being controlled through the creation of wind-sand corridors.
