两名男子称近40年前出生时被调换，他们的母亲首次发声。
伊丽莎白·奥图尔在接受哥伦比亚广播公司新闻的一次新采访时，回忆了她得知儿子杰里米·莫里森不是自己亲生的那一刻。
“震惊、难以置信。感觉像做梦一样，”她说。“我是说，直到我当面见到凯尔，才觉得这是真的。”
莫里森和凯尔·拜林于1988年1月28日在北达科他州同一家医院出生，他们起诉了这家医院，指控该机构在出生时将两人调换。

莫里森姨妈的DNA早就在Ancestry.com的数据库里了——因为两人的DNA相似度很高，拜林和这位姨妈很快就断定，他就是她的亲外甥。
The two men got in touch, and soon learned they seemed to be the only two babies born at the same hospital — Unity Medical Center in Grafton, N.D. — on their shared birthday.
For 36 years, Bylin（拜林）was raised by Elizabeth and Terry Morrison, while Morrison（莫里森）was raised by Evelyn and Keith Bylin. In their lawsuit, both men claimed that their 36-year separation from their biological parents caused “permanent and irreparable damage to the plaintiffs and their parent/child relationships.”
In a statement previously shared with PEOPLE, Unity Medical Center confirmed that the two men were “born at our hospital on the same day in 1988” and “apparently were separated from their biological parents.” However, the hospital denies that it or its staff were responsible for the switch, stating, “[We] have found no evidence to support claims that Unity Medical Center or its staff were responsible for what occurred.”
