1月21日，53%vol 500ml贵州茅台酒（丙午马年）经典版印刷错误的消息引发广泛关注。
有网友指出，马年茅台外包装所印制的星宿图中，“昴宿（mǎo xiù）”的 “昴” 字存在印刷错误，被写成了形近字 “昂”。
A printing mistake on the packaging of Kweichow Moutai's Year of the Horse zodiac liquor has drawn widespread attention since Jan 21.
Netizens pointed out that the first character for the star constellation
maoxiu(昴宿) was misprinted as the visually similar character
ang(昂) on the outer box of a special edition bottle.
当日晚间，“小茅i茅台”微信公众号发文表示，经第一时间查证，发现确实少了一“丿”，由“昴”变成了“昂”，公司已在第一时间联系供应链加班加点修改，并提醒已经提到货的消费者，如有意调换，可就近前往当地茅台自营店进行更换。同时，茅台还提出设计一个模具，由消费者自己把这一“丿”补上去，如果可行，将第一时间通知。
In response, Moutai's official WeChat account issued a statement on Wednesday evening, confirming the omission of a stroke in the character. The company explained it had immediately contacted its supply chain to arrange corrections and advised consumers who had already purchased the product to visit nearby Moutai stores for a replacement if desired. Additionally, Moutai is exploring the possibility of providing a tool for customers to manually add the missing stroke themselves and will notify the public if the plan proceeds.
1月6日上午9时，贵州茅台2026年丙午马年生肖酒正式开售。本次马茅包含经典版、珍享版与礼盒装三款规格，官方零售价分别为1899元/瓶、2499元/瓶、3789元/盒。

据了解，古人按东南西北四个方位，将二十八星宿对应为四种神兽，即四象（青龙、朱雀、白虎、玄武），每象下辖7个星宿。其中，西方白虎辖奎、娄、胃、昴、毕、觜、参七宿。此次出现印刷错误的，正是西方白虎七宿中的“昴”字被误印为“昂”。
In traditional Chinese astronomy, the 28 lunar mansions are grouped into four symbols, each corresponding to a celestial animal. The misprinted character belongs to the White Tiger constellation group, which governs seven stars in the western sky.
尽管茅台方面迅速响应并推出补救措施，但有市场观点认为，此类“错版”生肖酒可能反而具备收藏潜力。
Despite Moutai's swift corrective actions, some market observers suggest that such "misprinted" editions could gain collectible value over time.
白酒专家肖竹青以邮票收藏市场为例，中国邮票也曾出现过错版情况，这些错版邮票随后在市场上获得了显著的升值。此次出现错版的马年生肖茅台酒，也可能因稀缺性与不可复制的特点，在未来拥有一定的升值空间与收藏价值。
