In 1979，right after culture revolution, Isaac Stern visited China as the guest of Chinese government. The whole trip became a documentary called From Mao to Mozart: Isaac Stern in China.
This 84-minute-long documentary revealed young Chinese faces and showed the United States how China looks at the start of opening. This documentary caused a sensation in the United States and won the 53rd Academy Award.
Gone in a flash, after 40 years, legend is continuing. David Stern succeed his father’s career and came to China.
