首个“国际太极拳日”太极拳展演活动主会场活动日前在福建南平武夷山举行。

自17世纪中叶形成以来，太极拳已有近四百年传承史，现已传播至全球180多个国家和地区，海内外习练者数以亿计，是传播范围最广、参与人数最多的中华传统体育项目之一。2025年11月，联合国教科文组织大会第43届会议通过决议，将每年3月21日设为“国际太极拳日”。迄今为止，太极拳已在世界大学生运动会和亚洲运动会等重要国际体育赛事和文化活动上亮相，并被列入2026年达喀尔青年奥林匹克运动会比赛项目。

2026年3月21日，全球迎来首个“国际太极拳日”。这是联合国系统首个以武术项目命名的国际日，也是继太极拳被列入联合国教科文组织人类非物质文化遗产代表作名录之后，这一中华传统体育文化瑰宝获得的又一国际认可，标志着其作为人类共同文化财富的全球影响力迈入新阶段。首个“国际太极拳日”太极拳展演活动主会场活动3月21日在福建南平武夷山举行。此次活动以“健康生活、太极同行”为主题，采用主会场与分会场联动形式，与湖北十堰、河南焦作、河北邯郸三地分会场同步开展。
