据“汉中发布”，7月30日至8月3日，汉中市南郑区遭遇持续性强降雨，夜间短时暴雨多发，防汛形势严峻。当地党员干部坚守抗洪抢险一线。
A 30-year-old village official in Hanzhong, Shaanxi province, died after being swept away by floodwaters while inspecting flood risks during torrential rains, prompting widespread mourning for the young grassroots official.
8月1日清晨6时16分，南郑区气象台发布暴雨红色预警信号。随后，汉中市南郑区高台镇立峰村党总支书记、村委会主任李杨会同网格员、原村委会副主任李贵福开展汛情巡查，过程中车辆打滑失控侧翻至河道内，李杨被洪水冲走，李贵福获救。
Nanzheng district has experienced continuous heavy rainfall since Thursday, with frequent nighttime downpours. At 6:16 am on Saturday, the district's meteorological station issued a red alert for heavy rainfall.
Shortly afterward, Li Yang, Party branch secretary and director of the villagers' committee of Lifeng village in Gaotai town, set out with a local community worker and former deputy village director Li Guifu to inspect potential flood hazards. During the patrol, their vehicle skidded off the road and rolled into a river. Li Yang was swept away by the floodwaters, while Li Guifu was rescued.
2026年8月1日，事发地点姜坝河溢洪沟，画面中车辆为李杨、李贵福当时开展汛期巡查时所乘车辆。
经过30余小时不间断全力搜救，8月2日17时许，救援人员在该镇二郎村2组排洪沟内找到李杨，经医护人员现场确认，已不幸遇难。目前，南郑区正在积极妥善推进各项善后处置工作。
After more than 30 hours of search and rescue efforts, rescuers found Li Yang in a drainage ditch in Erlang village, Gaotai town, at around 5 pm on Sunday. Medical staff pronounced him dead at the scene. Local authorities are handling the aftermath.
李贵福事后回忆：“我们猛烈挣扎，拼命用手抓，我抓到副驾驶车窗的时候，感觉李杨用手推着我的屁股把我推上去了……”

据人民日报，李杨是新上任的村干部，今年刚满30岁，生前工作认真敬业。
2013年9月，李杨应征入伍，在武警重庆总队第二支队服役；2015年9月7日，在重庆市火车站北广场执勤时，他和战友成功解救摔落在自动扶梯上的群众，被武警重庆总队第二支队记三等功一次；2016年、2017年相继被武警重庆总队评为强军标兵、最美重庆武警。

According to People's Daily, Li Yang, 30, had taken office earlier this year and was known for his dedication to grassroots work.
Li served in China's People's Armed Police Force from September 2013 in Southwest China's Chongqing. On Sept 7, 2015, while on duty at the north square of Chongqing Railway Station, he and a fellow officer rescued a passenger who had fallen on an escalator, earning him a third-class merit citation. He was later recognized several times for his outstanding service.
2025年初，李杨响应号召回到家乡，投身基层建设。今年1月，他当选高台镇立峰村党总支部书记、村委会主任。
“乡里乡亲的，低头不见抬头见，和和气气才是好日子。”这是李杨常挂在嘴边的话。谁家地界不清、谁家和谁家闹别扭，他总是坐在院子里耐心听、慢慢劝。
2026年5月8日，李杨（右二）一行人走访立峰村村民，了解老年人集中助餐需求。
