8月26日，江苏省小微特具身智能重点实验室在锡启动建设，中电海康集团与南京大学同步签署战略合作协议。无锡将全力支持实验室高标准建设、高质量运行，助力中电海康、南京大学等合作各方在锡深耕发展、共结硕果，共同为国家全面实施“人工智能+”行动作出新的更大贡献。

Construction of the Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory for Small, Micro and Special Embodied Intelligence began on Aug 26 in Wuxi, where CETHIK Group and Nanjing University also signed a cooperation agreement. Wuxi will back the lab's development as the partners work together to turn research into real-world innovation and support China's "AI+" initiative.

8月21日，新紫光集团来锡深化对接合作，就进一步深化战略合作进行交流。无锡将持续优化营商环境，全力支持新紫光集团在锡深耕布局、发展壮大，推动双方合作向着更宽领域、更高层次拓展，合力为推动我国人工智能健康有序发展作出新的更大贡献。

Tsinghua Unigroup representatives visited Wuxi on Aug 21 to discuss deepening cooperation. Wuxi will continue to foster a business-friendly environment and support Tsinghua Unigroup's expansion in the city, while the two sides work together to promote AI development in China.

8月26日，全区重大产业项目月度推进会召开，分析当前形势，盘点阶段进展，梳理问题堵点，动员全区上下锚定目标、真抓实干、奋勇争先，全力以赴抓招商、攻项目，以项目招引建设的赋能增效，为全区经济高质量发展提供坚实保障。

WND held its monthly meeting on major industrial projects on Aug 26 to review progress, identify bottlenecks, and map out next steps. The district is doubling down on investment attraction and project development, with a clear focus on high-quality economic growth.

8月27日，全区群众身边不正之风和腐败问题集中整治工作推进会召开，深入学习贯彻习近平总书记关于全面从严治党、特别是整治群众身边不正之风和腐败问题的重要论述，全面落实今年以来中央纪委国家监委、省委、市委关于深化集中整治工作的一系列新部署新要求，总结前一阶段工作，分析研判当前形势，对下一阶段的攻坚冲刺任务进行再动员、再部署、再推进。

WND held a meeting on Aug 27 to review progress in its ongoing campaign against misconduct and corruption. Officials assessed the current situation and mapped out priorities for the next phase, focusing on tackling persistent problems and delivering concrete results.

8月27日，区领导带队调研区内具身智能重点企业，深入了解企业发展现状、产能扩张需求及上市筹备进展，现场协调解决发展难题，强调要抢抓机器人产业发展机遇，持续强化要素保障，加快推动新质生产力培育壮大。

WND officials visited leading embodied intelligence companies in the district on Aug 27 to learn more about their growth plans and preparations for going public. They also helped address challenges, calling for stronger support for businesses and faster development of new quality productive forces as the district seizes opportunities in the rapidly growing robotics industry.

8月21日，区领导调研区内重点建筑业企业，并召开座谈会，听取企业经营发展情况汇报和诉求建议，共商发展良策。座谈会上，区领导了解了企业经营现状、发展过程中遇到的困难问题以及意见建议，并组织各相关职能部门现场交流，研讨解决对策与具体举措。

WND officials visited key construction companies in the district on Aug 21 and met with business representatives to hear about their operations and challenges. Relevant government departments joined the discussion to address concerns and explore practical solutions.

8月21日，区委主要领导重点提案督办暨专题协商会召开，围绕“半导体设备产业补链强链”及“OPC新业态布局”两大主题，专题听取区政协重点提案办理情况，向区政协委员征询意见建议。

WND held a meeting on Aug 21 to review progress on key proposals submitted by the district's political advisory body. Discussions focused on strengthening the semiconductor equipment industrial chain and fostering the growth of the emerging One-Person Company (OPC) economy.

8月26日，我国西藏日喀则市吉隆县吉隆口岸遭遇重大灾害。灾情发生后，无锡高新区企业微纳星空闻令而动、快速响应，依托与环天智慧联合研制的“东坡”系列卫星星座——东坡11卫星、东坡15卫星、东坡16卫星、东坡17卫星、东坡19卫星，对受灾区域开展应急成像观测，开展全天候、高精度应急成像观测任务。其中，东坡17、19卫星，全部出自微纳星空位于无锡高新区的商业卫星智能化产线。

A devastating mudslide struck Gyirong county in Shigatse, Southwest China's Xizang autonomous region, on Aug 26. WND-based commercial satellite company MinoSpace responded swiftly, deploying its Dongpo satellite constellation for imaging of the affected areas. Dongpo-17 and Dongpo-19 were both produced on MinoSpace's production line in WND.

近日，第二届江苏省专利奖获奖名单公示，无锡高新区（新吴区）斩获6件专利奖（金奖1项、银奖2项、优秀奖3项）和1件发明人奖，共7项荣誉。专利奖获奖总数占全市总数的6/11，数量全市第一，发明人奖为全市唯一。

WND has secured seven honors in the second Jiangsu Patent Awards, including one Gold Award, two Silver Awards, three Excellence Awards, and Wuxi's only Inventor Award. Its six patent awards lead the city, accounting for more than half of Wuxi's total.

8月21日，公园式TOD商业“小站公园”首开亮相。“小站公园”和地铁4号线博览中心站B1层无缝接驳，目前已引入1家江苏首店、8家无锡首店以及多家区域首店，涵盖餐饮美食、策展零售、宠物友好、运动社交等多元业态。

A new kind of urban destination has arrived in WND, Wuxi! Station Park, a commercial hub connecting with the B1 level of Taihu International Expo Center Station on Metro Line 4, opened on Aug 21. Featuring one Jiangsu first store, eight Wuxi first stores and several regional firsts, it brings together dining, retail, pet-friendly spaces, sports and social experiences .

今年秋学期，无锡高新区2所市教育局直属优质高中将正式投用。无锡市第一中学太湖新城分校、江苏省天一中学新吴分校依托名校基因，在办学理念、校园文化、师资培养、课程体系等方面与本部一脉相承、资源共享，跨区域辐射优质资源。

Two top high schools in WND will open this fall, bringing the educational strengths of Wuxi No 1 High School and Jiangsu Tianyi High School to the district. The new campuses will share expertise in teaching, school culture, and curriculum design.

2026年，全区50个为民办实事重点项目总体进展顺利，其中，12个项目已提前完成年度目标，覆盖关爱帮扶、“一老一小”、教育资源、医疗健康、居住改善、生态环境、出行交通、文体娱乐、安全便民等多个方面。

WND is making everyday life better. Fifty projects on the district's 2026 agenda are moving ahead steadily, with 12 already completed ahead of schedule. 无锡交响乐团2026欧洲巡演圆满收官。8月18日至27日，无锡交响乐团这支成立仅三年的城市乐团，受邀登临四大国际音乐节。在世界古典音乐的核心腹地，乐团以精湛的技艺与饱满的热情，奏响“太湖新声”，赢得了海外观众与业界的高度赞誉，以令人瞩目的艺术实力展示“世界音乐之都”无锡的城市形象，传递中国文化自信的时代强音，让欧洲民众听见无锡交响。

Wuxi Symphony Orchestra has wrapped up its 2026 European tour on a high note! From Aug 18 to 27, the three-year-old city orchestra took the stage at four major music festivals, introducing audiences in the heartland of classical music to a new voice from Taihu Lake. With artistry and passion, the orchestra won acclaim from audiences and industry professionals, showcasing Wuxi's growing stature as a UNESCO City of Music.

近日，由江溪街道和新区公交政企协作共建专属工博园片区的公交微循环惠企便民线路，在8月28日正式开通试运行。此条公交线路精准对接周边市民的出行需求，成功解锁15分钟便捷生活圈，让每一次出行都轻松又省心。

A new dedicated bus route serving the China Industrial Expo Park area began trial operations on Aug 28. Jointly launched by Jiangxi subdistrict and WND Public Transport, the route connects residents with key destinations and brings more convenience to everyday travel.
