新华网9月9日电 据英国《太阳报》报道，曾在奥运会上多次夺冠的英国女自行车手维多利亚·彭德尔顿和丈夫斯科特·加德纳在一座童话般的乡间庄园举行婚礼。

维多利亚自行车运动团队中的同事和她参加的BBC电视节目《舞动奇迹》（Strictly Come Dancing）的明星们都出席了婚礼。

今年32岁的彭德尔顿曾在2008年北京奥运会和2012年伦敦奥运会夺冠，今年37岁的新郎斯科特是英国自行车团队的运动专家。

维多利亚说：“我很幸运，如果我没有从事这项运动，我们的生活永远都不会有交集。”

CYCLING golden girl Victoria Pendleton has wed in a fairy tale country mansion ceremony.

The London 2012 star was joined by members of Team GB and celeb pals from her stint on Strictly Come Dancing as she tied the knot with Scott Gardner,37.

Victoria, 32 — who added gold and silver in London to the gold she won in Beijing in 2008 — met Scott when he was performance scientist for Team GB cyclists.

She said: “I m lucky. If I hadn t have done sport, our paths would never have crossed.”
