A LINESMAN stumbles forward after being hit on the back of the neck by a smokebomb in front of cheering Tottenham supporters at Aston Villa yesterday.

It was hurled on to the pitch by a Spurs fan celebrating the first goal in a 2-0 win. Assistant ref David Bryan was not hurt. Two men aged 25 and 47 were arrested.
