新华网1月15日电 据科技博客网站Gizmodo报道，索尼公司今天发布了一款大屏幕Xperia手机，堪称2014年第一款“大块儿”智能手机。
索尼公司美国时间14日（北京时间今天）发布了一款新型中高档次的“平板手机”——Xperia T2 Ultra,目前有普通单卡和双SIM两种可选。Xperia T2 Ultra带有1080p的“大号”手机屏幕，内置一个1300万像素的摄像头，运行索尼四核高通MSM8929芯片，RAM内存为1GB。
在新品发布会上，索尼甚至使用了时尚词汇“Selfie”(网络潮词，意为自拍)，目的是为了向那些喜爱的自拍的年轻人推介Xperia新手机中的预装自画像检测app功能。Xperia T2 Ultra还带有迷你SD拓展功能，手机自身标配的8GB内存卡如果不够用的话，用户可以随意加入迷你SD卡拓展内存。支持LTE网络，DLNA，MHL还有4.0版本的蓝牙功能，前置摄像头的像素为720p
